Facts about Christmas films

1. In a recent Yahoo poll, users voted the most popular Christmas film of all time as Home Alone, with The Muppet Christmas Carol second, and It’s a Wonderful Life third.

2. It’s A Wonderful Life was mentioned in an FBI file in 1947, when an analyst expressed concern that the film was an obvious attempt to discredit bankers, a “common trick used by communists.”

3. Ever wondered why George looks strangely sweaty in the scene where he and Clarence are on the bridge? It’s because on the day of filming it was actually 32 °C or 90 °F.
